Detailed figures (line sizes, quantities, test pressures) can be completed once the final PO / BOQ extraction is frozen. Client & Location Client: Nestlé Iran Private J.S. Company Site: IR PL Qazvin (Factory), Qazvin–Karaj Road Area: Milk & skim reception level at approximately +4.40 m. FANPOD Engineering executed the on‑site installation and stainless‑steel piping works associated with the Milk Water Recovery (MWR) system, connecting the MWR room to existing process units. Scope at a Glance Installation of MWR equipment inside the dedicated MWR room. Stainless‑steel piping between MWR and Skid 8, IC Papenmeier, Later Effects and IF evaporator. Main drain routing and stainless‑steel pipe holders for the complete MWR piping network. Preparation of an installation ready for Nestlé commissioning and water‑recovery operation. Background & Challenge Integrating MWR into a Live Dairy Factory The Qazvin factory is a live, high‑throughput dairy site. Any new water‑recovery system must be integrated with minimal disruption, within existing building constraints and strict hygienic and safety frameworks. Brownfield Integration The MWR system had to be installed around existing equipment such as Skid 8, IC Papenmeier, Later Effects and the IF evaporator, as well as within the dedicated MWR room. Work inside an operating plant with controlled access and short shutdown windows. Routing through predefined corridors without blocking other process or utility lines. Maintaining accessibility for operation, maintenance and cleaning activities. Multiple Process Interfaces FANPOD’s role was to translate the MWR design package into a buildable, safe and maintainable installation on site, coordinating with Nestlé and OEM suppliers. Elevation and tie‑in philosophy for all MWR lines and manifolds. Sequencing of works to avoid interference with production and CIP cycles. Compliance with Nestlé’s technical specifications and local regulations. QA/QC & Testing Verifying Routing, Integrity and Readiness The installed MWR lines, drains and supports were checked to confirm alignment with Nestlé site requirements and to prepare the system for commissioning and later performance tests. As‑Built Verification Verification of MWR line routing versus issued drawings and physical constraints. Check of elevations and tie‑in locations, including the +4.40 m reception level. [Insert any site punch‑list closure or as‑built mark‑ups once available.] Pressure & Leak Testing Pressure tests for selected lines as defined by project specifications. Visual leak checks of welds and field joints. [Add test pressures, media and durations from test reports when compiled.] Hygiene & Drainability Control of slopes for drain and recovery lines where applicable. Verification of access for manual or CIP cleaning where foreseen. Coordination with Nestlé QA/QC where required for hygienic design acceptance. Documentation & HSE Installation records and checklists aligned with site procedures. Execution under Nestlé safety protocols and permit‑to‑work system.
